Team

The people behind QGI.

A founder-led team united by a single belief: intelligence should be accountable, explainable, and defensible. Led by Dain Ehring (CEO, ex-Dorado) and Dr. Sam Sammane (Chief Scientist, PhD formal verification).

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Dain Ehring

Silicon Valley CEO, founder, and board-level operator with four decades building category-defining software platforms at the intersection of AI, financial infrastructure, and regulated markets. Previously founded Dorado, the cloud platform that processed a significant share of U.S. mortgage originations under direct regulatory oversight. At QGI, Dain leads commercial and pilot operations — anchoring the company in regulated industries where determinism, explainability, and defensibility are compliance requirements rather than preferences.

  • Founder — Dorado (now part of CoreLogic)
  • Founder — Dain Allen LLC
  • Prior: Sun Microsystems, IBM, Unisys, NeXT
  • Board-level experience across fintech and enterprise software
Dr. Sam Sammane, Co-Founder & Chief Scientist, Quantum General Intelligence Inc.

Co-Founder & Chief Scientist

Dr. Sam Sammane

Dr. Sam Sammane (Ghiath Al Sammane) is architect of the QGI deterministic AI stack — Q-Prime, the QAG Engine, Qualtron, Quantum Graph Memory, and Neural Symbolic Agents. His research translates formal-methods discipline into production AI: reasoning that exposes contradictions before generation, provenance preserved end-to-end, and decisions that replay identically under audit.

  • PhD, Formal Verification — Université Joseph-Fourier-Grenoble I
  • 20 peer-reviewed publications (IEEE, ACM, Springer)
  • Forbes Technology Council
  • 4x TEDx speaker on AI ethics
Research Council

Three seats. Open invite.

The QGI Research Council is a small, named advisory group that shapes how the stack evolves against regulator expectations, formal-methods research, and real regulated-industry practice. We keep it small on purpose.

Council seat

Open

Regulated AI Governance

Practitioner with direct exposure to AI Governance inside a U.S. financial institution or regulated enterprise. Shaping how QAG signals surface inside real GRC platforms.

Council seat

Open

Formal Methods & Verification

Academic or industrial researcher in theorem proving, decision procedures, or formal verification of neural systems. Advising on the QAG Engine signal language and Qualtron specialist composition.

Council seat

Open

Regulated Industry Advisor

Operator or former regulator from mortgage, insurance, healthcare, or government with a point of view on where probabilistic AI is creating audit risk today.

How we work

Three principles that shape the team.

Lean by design

We run a small team on purpose. Every contributor ships a layer of the stack or a vertical-specific blueprint end-to-end — encoding, reasoning, memory, runtime, or delivery.

Formal over folk

We prefer a mechanized proof over intuition, an explicit signal over a folk heuristic, and a replayable trace over a persuasive summary. The product contract only holds if the engineering does.

Regulated customers, not user traffic

Our customers operate under CFPB, state regulators, HHS/ONC, OMB, and internal AI Governance. That is the pressure that keeps the system honest — and the standard we're built to.

Working with QGI

We collaborate. We don't staff a hiring pipeline.

QGI is tightly held. The way to work with this team is a defined engagement — an enterprise pilot, a Research Council seat, or a scoped research collaboration. No open-application careers page today.
